Understand to Bet on Craps – Tricks and Strategies: Do Not Throw in the Towel
by Aden on Jan.30, 2010, under Craps
Over your craps-wagering life, you’ll likely have more non-winning periods than winners. Accept it. You must understand how to wager in reality, not in fantasy land. Craps is developed for the participant to not win.
Say, after 2 hours, the dice have eaten away at your bankroll down to twenty dollars. You haven’t observed a hot throw in ages. Although squandering is as much a part of craps as being victorious, you can’t help but feel cursed. You ponder why you even bothered coming to las vegas to begin with. You were solid for two hours, but it did not work. You need to win so badly that you lose control of your common sense. You are down to your final twenty dollars for the game and you have absolutely no fight left. Call it a day!
You must never give up, never accede, never think, "This blows, I’m going to lay the rest on the Hard 4 and, if I am defeated, then I’ll call it quits. However if I succeed, I will be right back where I began." That’s the dumbest action you can do at the conclusion of a losing game.
If you cannot accept not winning, you have no business placing wagers. If you cannot stomach not winning a distinct session, then bail out of that session and take your money. Don’t throw your $$$$ away on a horrible wager hoping to hit it big and get your $$$$ back in one bet.
If it’s an awful game and you lose a lot rapidly, then acknowledge defeat and cash out with the 10 dollars, $15, or twenty dollars that you have left. Use that left over twenty dollars, go have a beer in the bar, enjoy the live music. Play the money in a nickel electronic poker game and perhaps get a one thousand-coin win for 50 dollars. Put it in your wallet, find your girlfriend, and spend some time with her. Do not relent. Do something other than piss your $$$$$ away on a non-winning proposition wager. Do not toss in the towel.
